Ellis wrote Snapchat’s first TV commercial, and concepted its first global brand campaign, Real friends, solidifying Snapchat’s value proposition to consumers.

Ellis was previously at The Verge and Insider where he wrote about the brightest products of the time, like Mailbox, Path, Paper by FiftyThree, VSCO, Tumblr, Foursquare, and more.

Since Snap he has worked at The Browser Company and is now bringing his experience across marketing, comms, and design to his newly founded Meaning Company where he is helping founders craft holistic product storytelling that moves culture and drives impact.
